Beautiful scenery, stunning vistas, and outstanding Inca archeological sites may all be found on our Sacred Valley Tour. The Sacred Valley’s entrance lies at Cusco, which is also the area’s cultural center. On the Sacred Valley Tour from Cusco, spend the day discovering the region’s natural beauty and learning about its history under the guidance of your amiable, knowledgeable, and English-speaking local guides. Additionally, the Sacred Valley Day Tour includes a stop to the Pisac Market, where you can see some of the greatest trinkets and fabrics. You may see a demonstration of the hand weaving and dyeing of the textiles in this region as well.
The Sacred Valley Tour in Cusco will demonstrate how the Incas treated the Valley well because it was the main source of food for their Empire. Their greatest items were cultivated here on its rich soil. Join us on our day trip to the Sacred Valley to discover wonderful corn with the biggest kernels everywhere. The curving agricultural terraces of Pisac’s Inca ruins, from which you can capture beautiful pictures of the Sacred Valley, are the site’s main attraction. The historic settlement below the ruins is home to a thriving handicrafts market.
The hub of the northern end of the Valley is Ollantaytambo, which also serves as the starting point of the Inca Trail and the entry to Machu Picchu. The main source of income for the Quechua people in this region is agriculture, while some communities are now resurrecting Incan weaving traditions to produce textiles and other handicrafts for sale. The music, the cuisine, and the way these local communities honor the Apus are just a few of the other Inca traditions that are still present today. In metropolitan areas, these ancestral traditions are practically extinct.
The Cusco traditional towns of Pisac, Urubamba, Ollantaytambo, and Chinchero are highlighted in the Sacred Valley. Due to the presence of historical buildings, lodging options, dining establishments, and other tourist attractions, these four locations receive the most travelers. You may take a tour, rent a car and go it alone, or use public transportation.
You may take in the breathtaking view of the high Andes while traveling down the Urubamba River’s path to the cloud forest that surrounds Machu Picchu Full Day. You are greeted by your guide when you arrive in Aguas Calientes, and you then head up to Machu Picchu for your guided tour of the site.
On the peak known as Machu Picchu (the “ancient mountain”), the Incan Emperor Pachactec constructed a metropolis in the clouds in the 15th century. Deep in the Amazon jungle, halfway up the Andes Plateau, and above the Urubamba River, this unique community may be found.
