This incredible place is located in the Andes of Peru, in the Cusco region and in the province of Canas, at (4790m / 15715ft) meters above sea level, in an area belonging to the Layo district this beautiful mountain is more known as’ Pallay Punchu of Apu Tacllo.

This beautiful tour also gives you breathtaking views of colorful landscapes and you can also see a beautiful sky blue lake. Pallay Puchu means (Andean fabric of a poncho) that is why it is named for its geographical formation very much to the Andean fabric called (Andean poncho) that protects from the cold.

Itinerary

Day 1Pallay Punchu Trek Full Day

This adventure begins in the city of Cusco at your hotel. Our specialized adventure and hiking guide will come to pick you up from your hotel along with our private bus at 4:00 a.m. Then we will travel to the south of Cusco. A trip that will last 3½ hours to the province of Sicuani, here we will have breakfast for, after breakfast we will continue our trip for 1 more hour to the Layo district, here our bus trip ends. From here we will continue walking to the Pallay Punchu mountain of Apu Tacllo, a distance of 5 kilometers long that requires approximately 1½ hours of walking. We will reach a height of (4790 masl / 15715 ft) where we will have the complete view of the wonderful Pallay Punchu of Apu Tacllo.

After having finished exploring this beautiful place we will return to our bus slowly, taking the last photos, then on our bus we will go to the Province of Sicuani to have a delicious buffet lunch. After finishing lunch we will return to Cusco and this adventure will end at your hotel with unique memories that you will never forget this experience in the Peruvian Andes.
